Art In The Park - Plymouth, MI - 2026 - 46th Annual

Plymouth Art In The Park is a signature Michigan summer tradition and juried art fair, celebrating its 46th annual event. Held each July in the heart of charming, walkable downtown Plymouth, Michigan, this three day festival transforms the downtown area into a vibrant outdoor gallery featuring more than 425 accomplished artists from across the United States.

Artists present a wide range of fine art and contemporary craft, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, fiber, glass, wood, photography, folk art, and more. Plymouth Art In The Park is known for its strong buying audience, welcoming nearly 300,000 attendees over the course of the three day weekend, creating a high energy buying environment for artists.

Beyond exceptional artwork, the festival delivers an immersive experience with live entertainment, cuisine, living murals, street performers, professional LEGO displays, and more than 90 participating youth artists within a walkable downtown setting.

Plymouth Art In The Park consistently earns national recognition and is ranked among the top art fairs in the country by leading art industry publications, including Sunshine Artist. The event was ranked #8 in the “2025 200 Best Shows” and #41 in the “200 Best Shows of the Decade from 2010 to 2020.” Locally, it has been voted Best Local Event by the Detroit Free Press, named The Best of Detroit by HOUR Detroit Magazine, and recognized as one of the Gems of the Great Lakes by AAA Magazine.

ARTIST RULES & REGULATIONS

1. All applicants must submit the following: 3 images of artwork and 1 image of your booth display. If you do not have a photo of your booth, please submit a drawing with a detailed description of your setup.
2. Art In The Park will be held on July 10, 11, & 12, 2026 (regardless of the weather).
3. All work exhibited must be original and handcrafted by the artist. We do not allow the sale of any manufactured or imported goods, aka "buy/sell".
4. Our jury may inquire or prohibit certain items based on their production, even if the original art was done by the artist.

• In general, we do not allow "drop-ship" products and try to avoid items such as cups, stickers, tote bags, and apparel. In general, we do not allow art generated using AI (artificial intelligence). Applications will be considered case-by-case.
• If you are reproducing your work on various items, please list them on your application and specify if the production was done by a third party or yourself.
• *Traditional prints of your original drawings, paintings, and photography are allowed.

5. Artists must be present with their work for the entire event.
6. Jury fee is $45.00. (LATE Jury Fee $60 after posted deadline of March 3, 2026)
7. Booth fee is $695.00 per 10x10 booth.
8. All initial applicants will be juried and will receive notification of show status by March 17, 2026 via email.
9. After an applicant officially accepts the invitation to participate via payment and their ZAPP status is CONFIRMED, there will be NO refunds.
10. If accepted into the show, you will receive a digital packet approximately two weeks prior to the event, including booth location, map, and setup instructions.
11. Please provide us with your Michigan Sales Tax I.D. number if you have one.
12. Absolutely all inventory, boxes, artwork, etc., must be contained within your booth space.
13. Artists are responsible for their own property, including tents, tables, chairs, and insurance. Art In The Park is not responsible for damage.
14. Artists who have paid for electricity must supply their own heavy-duty extension cords, minimum 100 feet long.
15. Art In The Park has police, EMS, and professional security on site.
16. Exhibitors agree to conduct themselves respectfully; inappropriate behavior may result in expulsion.
17. Violation of any rules is the basis for expulsion without refund.

KIDS ART BOOTH RULES & REGULATIONS

1. Art In The Park will be held on July 10, 11, & 12, 2026 (regardless of weather).
2. Kid artists must be under the age of 18 at the time of the event to qualify as a "Kid Artist."
3. All work exhibited must be original and handcrafted by the child.
4. Categories not permitted in the Kid Artist area include:

• Beauty service booths such as hair braiding or manicures.
• Food items such as homemade baked goods, candy, or pet treats.
• Beverages, including bottled water.

5. The children's booth fee is $75.00 per 7x7-foot booth.
6. All kid applicants must upload 3 photos of their work and a photo of their booth, if applicable.
7. All intial kid artist applications are due by March 3, 2026. 
8. Kid artists are responsible for their own property, including tables, chairs, and change.
9. Art In The Park has 24-hour security but is not responsible for unattended children.
10. Kid Artists must be present with their work for the event; parents may not represent their child.

FOOD VENDOR RULES & REGULATIONS

1. Art In The Park will be held on July 10, 11, & 12, 2026 (regardless of weather).
2. All initial food vendor applicants must complete the application by March 3, 2026. 
3. If accepted, food vendors must provide liability insurance, pass inspections, and follow all health guidelines.
4. All menu items must be pre-approved and limited to those listed on the application.
5. Vendors are responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment.
6. Violation of rules may result in expulsion without refund.

NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION RULES & REGULATIONS

1. Art In The Park will be held on July 10, 11, & 12, 2026 (regardless of weather).
2. Booths must be attended throughout all hours of the event.
3. Non-profit booth fees are $150.00 per 10-foot space.
4. Applications are due by March 3, 2026, and will be reviewed for arts-related alignment.
5. All promotional items must directly support the non-profit mission.
6. Organizations are responsible for their own property and insurance.

CLASS/WORKSHOP - "Studio Spark Exhibitor" RULES & REGULATIONS

1. Art In The Park will be held on July 10, 11, & 12, 2026 (regardless of weather).
2. Studio Spark Class/Workshop Fee is $275.00 per 10-foot space.
3. Applications are due by March 3, 2026, and must include all relevant information.
4. All classes and workshops must align with the arts-related mission of the event.
5. Organizations must maintain clean booth spaces and provide their own materials.
6. Violation of rules may result in expulsion without refund.
