Opportunity Summary
Milford Memories - Art In The Village is a signature Michigan summer tradition and nationally recognized juried art fair, celebrating its 34th annual event. Held each August in charming downtown Milford, Michigan, this three day festival transforms downtown Milford across multiple streets and Central Park into a vibrant outdoor gallery, featuring more than 350 accomplished artists from across the country.
Artists present a wide range of fine art and contemporary craft, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, fiber, glass, wood, photography, folk art, and more. Milford Memories is known for its strong buying audience, welcoming nearly 300,000 attendees over the course of the three day weekend, creating a high energy buying environment for artists.
Beyond exceptional artwork, the festival delivers a lively and welcoming atmosphere with live entertainment, great food, and beloved community traditions including a 5K run and a cornhole tournament, all set within a festive small town setting that keeps patrons returning year after year.
Milford Memories consistently earns national recognition and is ranked among the top art fairs in the country by leading art industry publications, including Sunshine Artist. The event was ranked #27 in the “2022 200 Best Shows” and #35 in the “200 Best Shows of the Decade from 2010 to 2020.” Locally, it is celebrated as a must attend summer event in Metro Detroit and a favorite among artists nationwide.

Application Requirements
ARTIST RULES & REGULATIONS
1. All applicants must submit the following: 3 images of artwork and 1 image of your booth display. If you do not have a photo of your booth, please submit a drawing with a detailed description of your setup.
2. Milford Memories will be held on August 7, 8, & 9, 2026 (regardless of the weather.)
3. All work exhibited must be original and handcrafted by the artist. We do not allow the sale of any manufactured or imported goods aka "buy/sell".
4. Our jury may inqure or prohibit certain items based on their production - even if the original art was done by the artist.
6. Jury fee is $45 (LATE Jury Fee $60 after posted deadline of April 3, 2026)
7. Booth fee is $695 per 10x10 booth.
8. All applicants will be juried and will receive notification of show status by April 17, 2026 via email.
9. After an applicant officially accepts invitation to participate via payment and their ZAPP status is CONFIRMED there will be NO refunds. No refunds will be given due to the cancellation of the event by an act of God, local authorities, or a weather-related incident. The jury fee is non-refundable. These funds go toward the panel that processes, reviews & decides on which artists are accepted to exhibit in our shows.
10. If accepted into the show you will receive a digital packet approximately two weeks prior to the event including booth location, map and set up instructions.
11. Please provide us with your Michigan Sales Tax I.D. number if you have one. To acquire a number, contact the Michigan Department of Treasury. If you are from out of state, or only plan to do a few shows in Michigan, a Concessionaires form may be sufficient for you. Please be advised that the Tax Department may collect onsite.
12. Absolutely all inventory, boxes, artwork, etc. must be contained within your booth space and cannot interfere with adjacent exhibits or walkways in anyway.
13. Artists are responsible for their own property and for furnishing their own tents, tables, chairs, and change. Artists are responsible for insurance and protection of artwork and display. Milford Memories will not be responsible for damage to artwork or display.
14. Artists who have paid for electricity are responsible for supplying their own extension cords. The cords must be damage free, heavy duty, three prong grounded, outdoor rated and able to carry at least 15 amps and be a minimum of 100 feet long.
15. Milford Memories has police, EMS, and professional security on-site throughout the entire event.
16. Exhibitors agree to conduct themselves in a respectful, cooperative manner. Any behavior deemed inappropriate by Milford Memories may result in expulsion. Milford Memories is a family friendly event and does not wish to include radical, disturbing displays or outbursts at this event.
17. Artist agrees that the booth is not transferable and may not be assigned to another party.
18. Violation of any of these rules is basis for expulsion without refund.
KIDS ART BOOTH RULES & REGULATIONS
1. Milford Memories will be held on August 7, 8 & 9, 2026 (regardless of the weather.)
2. Kid artists must be under the age of 18 at the time of the event in August to qualify as a "kid artist."
3. All work exhibited must be original and handcrafted by the child. The limited use of manufactured items will be allowed, only if incidental to the final product and included in your jury photos.
4. Categories that are NOT permitted in the Kid Artist area include:

7. All initial kid artist applications are due by April 3, 2026. All applicants will be juried and will receive notification of show status by April 17, 2026 via email. Payment is required to secure your space.
8. Due to space constraints in the children area, for sun coverage a 7x7 ft tent (max size) or a secure umbrella may be used. Absolutely all inventory, boxes, artwork, etc. must be contained within your 7x7-foot space.
9. Kid artists are responsible for their own property and for furnishing their own tables, chairs and change. Milford Memories will not be responsible for damage to work or display.
10. Children must be present with their work for the event. No parents are allowed to represent their child, or sell artwork without the child being present.
11. Milford Memories has 24-hour security, police and EMS on site throughout the entire event. Milford Memories is not responsible for unattended children.

- IF you are reproducing your work on various items please list them on your application and specify if the production was done by a third party or yourself.
- *traditional prints of your original drawings, paintings & photography are allowed
