Cullman Oktoberfest 2026

The 2026 Cullman Oktoberfest will be held October 1–4 at the Festhalle Farmers Market and Depot Park.

Craft Show Hours:

Thursday, October 1: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Friday, October 2 & Saturday, October 3: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Sunday, October 4: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Cullman is a proud German town, and Oktoberfest gives our city the opportunity to celebrate our deep German heritage. At Oktoberfest, you can enjoy a pint of locally brewed beer, indulge in a traditional German bratwurst, and experience both modern and traditional German music throughout the festival.

Oktoberfest is a fun and welcoming event for the whole family — even your furry, four-legged family members are welcome! We have special activities just for them. Don’t forget to grab a picture with our beloved Hay People before you leave!

• Applications Open: June 1, 2026
• Application Deadline: August 7, 2026
• Jury Dates: August 10–14, 2026
• Notification of Acceptance: August 21, 2026
• Deadline to Accept Invitation/Purchase Booth: September 4, 2026

Cancellations by confirmed artist participants must be received in writing by 4:00 PM on September 11, 2026, in order to receive a refund of the booth fee. Jury and application fees are non-refundable.

Sales

All sales are handled by the exhibitor. Cullman Parks, Recreation & Sports Tourism (CPRST) collects no commission on sales.

Exhibitors are responsible for collecting and remitting sales tax. Instructions for sales tax reporting will be provided at check-in or upon acceptance into the show, detailing how to remit sales tax to the Cullman County Department of Revenue.

Fees

Application, booth, and other applicable fees must be paid via credit card or PayPal through ZAPP.

Your booth fee constitutes an agreement to participate. Booth space will not be reserved without full payment.

No refunds will be given for cancellations after September 11, 2026.

Booth selection and placement are final and at the discretion of the festival committee.

A covered area/tent will be provided.

The festival is held outdoors, so exhibitors must be prepared for inclement weather. There is no rain date, and no refunds will be issued due to weather conditions.

Additional Information

• There is no designated vendor parking. Parking is first come, first served.
• All work is displayed at the vendor's own risk. Festival organizers are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to booth space, booth structures, or products.
• Vendors must carry their own liability insurance to cover their booth, products, rented space, and staff.
• Sales tax information will be sent upon acceptance or provided at the show.
• The festival aims to present a unified, eclectic mix of exhibitors. Festival organizers reserve the right to relocate any vendor who arrives with an unattractive or oversized display that does not meet the requirements stated in the application.
• Vendors may only sell items that were juried into the show. No exceptions.
• Subleasing of booth space is not permitted.
• Booths must be fully set up before the start of the festival. Late arrivals and early breakdowns are not allowed. Vendors who do not set up on time will forfeit their spot.

Cullman Parks, Recreation & Sports Tourism (CPRST) Vendor Code of Conduct

CPRST asks all vendors to help promote a safe and fun environment by demonstrating:

• Respect for staff, volunteers, other vendors, and event attendees
• Responsibility and awareness of event rules
• Fairness, kindness, and good citizenship
• Cooperation with event operations
• Appropriate communication, refraining from profane language, gestures, or conduct
• Support for a safe, enjoyable, and healthy environment

By participating, you agree to follow the above expectations. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to:

• A verbal warning
• Removal from the event and/or exclusion from future events

Cancellations by confirmed artist participants must be received in writing no later than 4:00 p.m. on September 11, 2026 in order to receive a refund of the booth fee. Cancellations received after this deadline will not be eligible for a refund.

Jury and application fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Refunds, when applicable, will be issued in the original form of payment.
